Invitation to RECONNECT at the 2022 Joint Conference of ESA and SCB Oceania
The 2022 Conference theme is ‘Reconnecting’
As the world begins to open again, many of us are embracing the opportunity to reconnect – with each other, with nature, and with efforts to restore connections within nature.
The ESA and SCB Oceania invite you to build, explore and share these ‘reconnections’ at our joint conference on Dharawal Country in Wollongong, NSW, Australia.
Rekindle old networks and forge new ones with colleagues from throughout the Oceania region. Examine the role our own connections to nature play in our ecological practice and mental health. Or discuss the importance of connection-making within nature, like establishing natural corridors and improving ecosystem functionality.
After two years apart we are excited to come together again to share our work, knowledge and experiences, and look to the future.
We look forward to reconnecting with you there!
Dieter Hochuli, Co-Chair, ESA
Micha Jackson, Co-Chair, SCB Oceania
